Like many other countries, Sri Lanka experienced the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The country went through several waves of infections and implemented various measures to curb the spread, such as lockdowns, curfews, and travel restrictions.

The pandemic severely impacted Sri Lanka's economy, particularly its tourism sector, which is a major source of revenue for them.
