Currently Colombo has the only functional International airport to reach Sri Lanka

Travel By Air

You can reach the island of Sri Lanka via the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

From Colombo , you can hire a car or go by bus / van to Hambantota.

Please notes that flights to the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport are not currently operational

You can coordinate going in groups of 6 in a van (cost per trip per person will be approx $25).
